| Problem: | Cannot change camera type from SPEL for Windows GUI |
Symptoms
There is no place in the GUI to change the camera
type.
Causes
This has
been confirmed to be a bug in Vision Guide 2.3.0.
Remedies
There is a registry value that allows
you to change the camera type.
Follow these steps:
1. Shut down SPEL for Windows.
2. From Start | Run, execute
regedit.
3. Navigate to the following registry key
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SEIKO EPSON
CORPORATION\SPEL for Windows 2.0\Vision]
4. Change the DCFFile
value to use the correct dcf file name, as shown below.
Sony XC75: xc75.dcf
Pulnix TM1001 High Res
camera: tm1001n.dcf
General purpose: RS170.dcf
"DCFFile"="c:\\SPELW\\vision\\pulsar\\dcf\\tm1001n.dcf"
5.
Restart SPEL for Windows. If you are using the TM1001 high res camera,
the Vision Guide window video area will now be 500 x 500 and the vision search
area will be 1000 x 1000.
Status
This problem will be fixed in a future
version.
