| Problem: | Enabling Run window video preference with run window open causes errors |
Symptoms
On systems using Vision Guide, internal errors
occur when the run window Vision Display preference is turned on after the run
window is already open.
Causes
To reproduce the error:
1. From the Setup | Preferences Run Window Tab, turn
off the Vision Display check box.
2. Click OK.
3. Open the run window. No video is displayed in
the right half of the run window.
4. From the
Setup | Preferences Run Window Tab, turn on the Vision Display check box.
5. Click OK.
6. Internal
error 438 occurs several times, or SPEL for Windows hangs.
Remedies
Before changing the run window preferences, close
the run window. After changing preferences, you can reopen the run
window.
Status
This problem has been fixed in v2.2.2.
